Peanut butter and honey on toasted wheat bread.
Such sweet goodness. A perfect counter to the horrors of midnight homework.

Post-dinner, Thursday, March 29
Turkey and medium cheddar on toasted wheat bread.
This is the direct result of me forgetting to put away my food after dinner. Someday I'm going to accidentally let something go bad...

Breakfast, Thursday, March 29
Turkey and medium cheddar on wheat bread.
What can I say? I'm always running late.

Lunch, Wednesday, March 28
Peanut butter and strawberry "fruit preserve" (because it's just about impossible to get real jam here--I could write a pretty extensive rant about this) on toasted wheat bread.

Lunch, Monday, March 26
Hickory smoked turkey, tomato, red pepper, and medium cheddar cheese on toasted potato bread.
I'm still not used to the sweetness of red peppers, but I think I like this. Reinforced by the tomato, it offers a distinct contrast to the cheese.

The Daily Sandwich
Sandwiches are an integral part of my day-to-day life. In fact, if the adage "you are what you eat" were to be taken literally, you could probably say that I'm about 50% sandwich. They're easy to make, they're easy to eat, and they're absolutely delicious.
But one of the best things about sandwiches is their nearly infinite variety. Seriously, you can put just about anything on bread and make it taste good if you do it right. Different ingredients can be combined in different quantities, in many combinations and permutations. The possibilities are endless.
The purpose of this blog is to record, for my own benefit and for the benefit of anyone who may find it interesting, all the different sandwiches I eat. My only regret is that I didn't start this earlier.
